The history of Le château de Baudemont dates back to 1615, when a manor house was built there. Over time, the building evolved, giving rise to the “horseshoe”-shaped façade that can be admired today. Toward the end of the 19th century, a stud farm was established there, one of the oldest in Belgium. Today, Baudemont Castle and Stud Farm remain a private estate, while welcoming visitors to its cottages, guest rooms, and horse boarding facilities. The site embodies a vision that blends respect for heritage, a love of nature, equestrian tradition, and historical memory—a true living treasure, bearing witness to a rich past and a peaceful present.
